Ashlee Minton

Technology Specialist / Curriculum Writer

I have been an educator spanning many different grades and specialties for over 10 years. I have always loved incorporating technology into my curriculum and earned my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with Technology from Grand Canyon University. My passion is empowering students and educators to become 21st century learners.

I love utilizing what I learned in my master’s program in my work as Technology Specialist and Curriculum writer with iKidsCode. I am able to take my passion of technology and empower our instructors to learn new technology and give their students opportunities to use their knowledge in creative ways!

As the Technology Specialist and Curriculum Writer at iKidsCode, it is my mission help students gain foundational computer science and programming knowledge. I design each class to take those foundational skills and expand their own problem solving and critical thinking skills while creating projects in digital storytelling, animation, and game design. My priority is fostering their personal interests and channeling that into their own creative projects.
